Kim Klein is the Executive Director of The Better Angels Society, which was created in 2010 to attract support from individual donors and family foundations for documentary films and educational outreach associated with those films that introduce current and future generations of Americans to their history.

Prior to joining The Better Angels Society, Kim worked in education as a major gift officer for special initiatives at Hampshire College where she coordinated fundraising efforts for the completion of the Liebling Center for Film, Photography and Video, named after Jerome Leibling, Ken’s teacher, dear friend and mentor. Hampshire introduced Kim to the Florentine Films family.

Before moving to Massachusetts from Louisville, Kentucky, Kim worked as the director of development and marketing for the Louisville Ballet, and served as executive director of Scenic Kentucky, the state affiliate of Scenic America. Kim brings a wide range of skills in development, strategic planning and marketing, as well as a mission-driven perspective to the growth of The Better Angels Society and the stewardship of its donors and projects. 

Kim is from Louisville, Kentucky, graduated from the University of South Florida, Tampa and now resides in Shelburne Falls, MA.
